Adobe After Effects for a 3D one (plenty of templates around) or Sony Vegas for a lower budget (also plenty of templates. Notice these are both paid, you can't make a decent one for free, just give up on YouTube right now if you're using movie maker ;)

adobe after effects, i think this is the best one.

I have seen some good intros made using blender and blender is free
