I have two questions, is jailbreaking illegal(noob question I know but never really looked into it) and can I restore my iPhone back to factory setting and take it into an apple store to get it fixed? The thing broke about it though is that the screen doesn't really work, as in you cant press anything.
Everyting with the phone is perfectly fine, the screen works, it turns on, all the buttons work, you just cant press anything on the screen. Like the "touch screen" isn't working, it somewhat works but to the point where its almost unusable.
So heres my question though, so right now my phone is jailbroken and the screen is messed up. Even though its jailbroken can I restore it and go get it fixed? or will they find out it was jailbroken and not help me?

No jail breaking isn't, but it is unsupported. Does the phone turn on? If apple find out it was jail-broken i don't think they would help you...

Well if the screen is broken to where you can't press anything I am not sure why you still have that but I could help you better if I knew the exact problem..

Jailbreaking and changing what your iDevice looks like is not illegal. Downloading free music and movies with jailbreak is.
And to answer your other question, if your device every cracks or is damaged, you could always restore and take it back to apple!

You're in luck! I believe you restroing your phone doesn't involve touching the screen at all!

Just go ahead and restore it back to stock, Apple never knows.
