If its not childish gambino I dont know if whoever reads this has heard of Lil Bibby or Lil Herb but ifyou havent do it. they are taking rap back to the top. I think Kendrick Lamar is horrible never liked him never will (except his verse in control, it was decent.)

Personally, I don't think there is a winner in music. People have their own type of music and nobody is better than someone else.

It really all comes down to personal preference.

I like Kendrick Lamar over everyone. His music is never annoying and he is lyrical. That's MY opinion.

I want to say Hopsin, I personally love him. But he's really not that well known. And his music is for people who can kind of relate to it if you think about it. But Kendrick Lamar is going to take over, or at least I hope.

Lol, not gonna say I don't like childish gambino because I enjoy his music but NO WAY he's "taking over" rap. Who I personally think is taking over right now is Black Hippy which includes Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolBoy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock. I personally dislike Jay Rock but every other rapper I mentioned is talented as FVCK. Another YOUNG artist that's really good too that should be coming up in a year or so is KR. He's 18 and he's nasty man. Listen to KR // Poetic Death. NASTY GUY He should've been on XXL's freshman list tbh.

*EDIT: Logic is also nice as hell too.

I think Lil Herb, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Lil Jay, etc; will all bring rap back to the top. Even Gucci Mane has the potential to bring rap back to the top.

I hope this is a joke lmao. To me, every rapper that has "Lil" In the beginning of their name is absolutely trash.

Possibly the worst rappers in the rap industry. Can you even understand chief Keef half of the time? He can't rap. Most of his words are not even real words. 3hunna for example lol..
I think you need to browse YouTube a little.

Eminem will probably be leaving soon. I think that Hopsin might make it big because a lot of people say he raps like Eminem. Not trying to say Eminem was at the top of rap.

Not liking Kendrick Lamar is just an opinion I just dont like his music. Childish Gambino is a lyrical rapper which not a lot of people like but its better then someone like Meek who has the same song everytime. I agree about Hopsin but little do people know that its his own fault for not being known he refuses to sign with big name record companies. Saying people that have Lil before their name is stupid because then youve never listened to Lil Herb or throw back Lil Wayne so domt bring that here. Also btw if any of havent realized we might not be able to understand Chief Keef half the time but he is 18 and can buy your whole familys mortgage 3 times... And I also forgot to add in Joey Bada$$ and Wale

It's pretty hard to judge, but I will agree that Bibby and Herb are gonna make it big out of Chicago. The rap scene on a grander scale isn't so easy to look at. There's so many different kinds of rappers. Even Macklemore got a Grammy. I listened to Q's Oxymoron, and I liked it. I also have great respect for Kendrick and what he does, and I've always enjoyed Ab-Soul's work. That being said, I'm hoping to see TDE get up there, like way up there.
