Hey! I'm gonna be new to YouTube in a little while, I'm just wondering, what kind of capture card should I get? And what kind of mic and all of that. I don't really understand, any help would be appreciated!

It really depends on what your budget is. I am not too knowledgeable about mics but I know a few good capture cards.

I would suggest looking at these:

If I were to buy one, I would probably go with the Elgato.

HDPVR2 is the way to go in my personal opinion. Sure it's a bit bulkier then the El Gato but the El Gato can be fragile at times. I'm a maniac when it comes to keeping things safe I went through two El Gatos so far while I've had my HDPVR2 since the day it was released.

I have the HD PVR 2 and Elgato Game Capture HD.

The Elgato is much better, the quality is amazing!

If you don't have enough to get a HDPVR I would recommend Roxio Game Cap HD. The quality is still pretty good in one of them
