People spamming gets very, very, very annoying...

some people do spam alot, some guy must of been copying and pasting because he replied to a post that was about a guy who wanted to give up gfx and he pasted "nice mate, 10/10!" or something around that.

I know what you mean. I don't know how people get to 1k and so on so quickly.

yep, its annoying specially when they do the "2020" thing. Because they can't even write a sentence which should have 20 characters or more.

I think he's not really referring to that type of spamming.

I think he means when people are just posting in lots of forums like introduce yourself and forum games in an attempt to raise post counts, so it's not really against the rules.

My opinion is that if people want to do it let them, it doesn't harm anyone else.

posting short pointless posts that dont contribute to the topic being discussed are still spam. the worst spam which irritates me is when a question has been answered, and half an hour after another user posts the same response as one posted half an hour earlier, there is no need to do that, up to 5/10 mins is fair enough as someone could have been writing s reply just a second after someeone else posted theirs. but when the same reply is posted a half hour later by a different user really annoys me!

Have you seen how many rants there are on spamming? Dude it's like your spamming while making a rant on spammers wot

If you see any spamming, report the spammer, and he'll be banned temporarily or permanently.

I've been reading what everyone has said in this post and I agree and disagree.

It's bad to mindlessly spam unimportant information, but if you post 100 times a day and every post is useful and relevant that's not such a bad thing, is it?
