I'm asking for some guidance on YouTube. To be straight I have no idea how to make a successful channel even though I've had a few channels since 2009. My most successful being only a 1K account.

So can anybody give me some guidance for a successful channel? Or maybe some feed back of my content. Also whilst I'm here I may aswell put it out there that I'm looking for different people to do some Colab videos with, just to meet some new commentators and also so that I reach a larger audience.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope some of you can give me a bit of advice.

Here is my channel to refer to anyways

the advise I could give you is just be yourself, never give up, and always listen to your subscribers, I for one ads a small channel can't tell you how to properly, that's what I've been doing and my subscribers have respect for me and have been helpful in helping me to get 245 subs within a few months of uploading so that's all I can give you

P.S: never copy other youtubers otherwise you will get butt hurt fans hating on all your videos

To be successful you will need to spend a bit of money if you haven't already done so, people want good quality as if you want goo publicity being professional is a goo tip!

Another good tip is think of a decent nickname for yourself sounds daft but if you're racking up subs/views you'll want a name which represents you.

Having an intro/outro is also god it makes the video looks nicer depending if it's good though.

Make friends this is important as if you make good friends you both will increase your chances of getting somewhere on youtube!

There are more but these are ones I can only think off at top of my head!

Hope these helped!

What would you recommend me buying? I've already got a PVR and a Blue Snowball Mic. Anything else? + Thanks for the reply

You're going to an HD Capture Card (HDPVR, El Gato etc)

You're also going to need to listen to what your subs want, and you have to upload constantly, not stopping then uploading randomly and you need a good name. If youre going to make tutorials you'll need a good mic to talk people through the tutorials and stuff.

There's lots of other things but i really dont remember what right now

Thanks bro. I've already got a HD PVR and a Blue Snowball mic etc. I'm just stuck on ways to expand my audience tbh :/
