It's ok man, I can't get it to work either....at the tap a fast part, it will take me to private match and when I switch back to combat training, it's team deathmatch...

No...It is not patched. You are just messing up somewhere in the process.

The problem I think is just you have to press A at a certain speed for 5 seconds. What happened me was i did it to slow and for to short or to long. Just try vary things a bit. You'll eventually get it, its not patched, I was doing it for ages there 10 mins ago

Hey thank you for everyone that gave me feedback and suggestions, I got it to work! First game I got 1063 kills and like 20 deaths.

And yes, there was a somesort of a patch today on Dec 4th 2010, not too sure what it was though.
