FRAPS Audio Problem

Im posting this here because the PC section is a deserted post Apocalyptic Wasteland everyone is dead there
So after months of trying to figure out whats been causing my audio to be all distorted and crappy
but yesterday i discovered that its my mic input causing it
Im using the Turtle Beach X12
I went into Realtek and mutted my mic recorded a game and the sound was normal
but the new problem is that i want to commentate my in gameplays
is there anyway i could make it so i can record my voice and good audio?
