A new analysis of satellite data in the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 indicates that the plane went down in the southern Indian Ocean, Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak said Monday.

Razak said during a news conference that he was briefed by the U.K. Air Accidents Investigation Branch about data calculations conducted by British satellite company Inmarsat.

Based on their new analysis MH370 flew along the southern corridor, and that its last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean west of Perth, Razak said. This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites. It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, that flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.

I don't know if I would believe the Malaysian officials regarding this issue. Nobody will know exactly what happened to Flight MH370.

It has been announced that the wreckage of the Malaysian aircraft has been found and identified at the bottom of the Indian ocean.

The US Navy is sending a black box out to the "wreckage" to recover the final minutes of the flight.

I need to hear more before I believe any of this in my opinion.

And come on I am disgusted in how malyaisa handled giving the information to the families.
They sent a TEXT message to them.
Here's the message they sent.

I agree 100% with you. They should have sent letters out to the families and I also don't believe it until I actually see evidence of the plane. I think Malaysia just wants to stop the search and the questioning behind it.

They claimed they found evidence last week and it turned to be nothing of importance or anything related to the flight itself. I feel incredibly bad for the families, but I will not believe that they found evidence untill it's 100% confirmed. They believe it's at that bottom of the ocean.. but still havn't looked into the evidence yet. I'm not doubting it could be at the bottom of the ocean but part of me feels like this is an act of Malaysia wanting to end the search and move on. I mean seriously if they cared they wouldn't have sent a text message to the families unless that's how they report bad news to one another which I highly doubt. Something is a bit off.
