when im on my xbox one im in a party with my friend and when im using my mike i can hear him but it wont let me talk but it works through kinect... any help?

I've had that issue. Plug in your mic and go to game chat in Cod Ghosts or BF4 or anygame that has it and talk, then go back to party chat. Hope this helped
