Hello I am wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to softmod my NINTENDO DS LITE. I want to be able to download and play my games for free basically, you now all those pokemon games haha. I hear the LITE can run the GBA games only reason for that specific DS otherwise I would get the DSi. I have not bought yet as I am doing research.

So my questions are:
1. What DS is the best to mod with.
2. How can I soft mod it my to run homebrew and download and run free games.
3. Can you point me in the right direction.

Thank you to anyone who will help me.

I suggest just using a R4 or any other flash card for DS games. as for GBA games i don't know.
I'm pretty sure it can be done on the first DS up to the DSI XL but if your going to use the DSI then your going to need a Flash Card that's compatible with it

I bought an r4i and once you get the correct software version it's brilliant. The one lame thing is that the r4i for the 3DS can't play GBA roms. If you need any help when you get it just shoot me a PM
