My iphone 4s is stuck in DFU mode do I have to reset my phone to the new 7.1?

ohh ok so
hold your power button for 3 seconds
Hold your home button with your power button for 15 seconds
Let go of your home button while still holding on to your power button for 10 seconds
hold your power button for 3 seconds

after it shows connect to itunes use a program called tiny umbrella to kick it out of recovery
