I went to start up MW2 (on stealth) and I got prompted for a 4mb update. I update it but it keeps looping giving me the same 4mb prompt. What am I doing wrong?

Corrupt update, you need to delete the update you have then try re downloading it

Delete the update from your console and then Clear System Cache.
When done restart your console and load up Modern Warfare 2 and it will prompt you for an update.

If you have XM360 or FSD then you can find them through those, just disable the plugin before you do it and disconnect from live, then when you're done enable the plugin again

I don't really like doing it through FSD, so what I did before all this was download TU8, went into Neighborhood and put it into my cache folder on my hdd. Then when I started it up, it gave me a 4mb update, went through to the multiplayer menu, then started looping 4mb update prompts.
Edit: I also cleared my cache folder and the only thing remaining in there is a PS_0000106 file. I rebooted and now there's a bunch of additional files in there that start with TT_ VC_, XT_, TK_
