i just got photoshop cs5 and i have some renders with a black background but i don't know how to get rid of the background. could some one tell me how to do it or send me a tutorial?

You Use The Magic Wond and you fill the area with color download teamviewer and ill personally show you

That signature is ok
and you should be able to render it with no background.

what format is the render in? it should be .png and then you go into photoshop and open it. and with the magic wand try reducing the tolerance, shown below...

Use the background eraser tool with a very small brush to get rid of the background.
