Ok this tutorial is going to go over how to spray paint your 360 controllers
I am going to be writing this in assumming that you already have your controller opened so here we go
Steps:
1. Lay lots of newspaper down to prevent your spay damaging anything
Ok before you get on with your spraying i am going to give you two tips, these are not esential but i highly recommend them
Tip 1: To prevent any of it running through the holes for the buttons what i did was simply put some tape on the bottom of the holes like so:
Tip 2: Also to prevent any sticking in the directional pad i rolled up some kitchen role into a circle and placed it were the d-pad is.
REMEMBER: To remove it while it is still drying as it may get stuck if you do not remove it!
As i said they parts are up to you, anyway lets continue.
2. Place your top part of your controller in the center and spray your first coat of primer onto it
3. Let it dry, once dry apply a second coat
4. Now is time to apply the paint, the amounts of coats differs from person to person, so basicaly apply as many coats as you need until you are happy
(Remember it is best to use light coats over soaking it on a first try)
5. Once it is 1000% dry you are ready to apply your sealer, basicly again this differs from person to person, but in general two coats is enough
6. Once your top is done repeat the steps for the bottom
You now have a sprayed controller.
Please thank and rep if this helped you.
Thank to keep the topic alive.
