I've reverse engineered 8 ball and had the files down to an editable form and even modded the dollars up, as soon as I hit the server, everything reverted back to what the server last logged. That's when I stopped lol I'm good at manipulating code, but I'm no wizard. Come to think of it...this isn't a wizards work. Problems like these require a genie (that may or may not sound like Robin Williams)

However true this may or may not be, you are a crazy person if you download any "tool" that will let you alter your game. The only trusted method would involve a step by step showing you how to edit the files and recompile the game without any other software created by the person who found the exploit.

This is true, but it is possible to edit the apk in IDA and modify the amount of gems gained from certain achievements and disable the "timeout" you get from disconnecting to the server then locking your device. The only problem is it does reset when you connect to servers, so they never do work online. Trust me, it won't work.

Yea but the moral of the story is, no matter how much time you put into modifying the code of the game to change the amount of gems or currency the token caching strategy used by the server, it pretty much impossible to bypass

Yes, there are client sided mods. You can "change" your buildings/walls to level 10, but only you will be able to see it. It's basically just for looks.

I mean, they work, but only you can see them. I just wanted to say the only "mod" that is really available for Clash of Clans.
