You gain teeth by:

Escaping
Prestiging
Completing all challenges on a map
Killing cryptids (Large amount (500+))
Destroying hives (Medium amount (25+))
Play and completing missions whilst using relic(s)
Completing missions other players in group have not (i.e. First time escaping, first time reaching an area, first time completing all challenges ect)

Naturally, you may not find teeth every game you play so it will require perseverance, and as for farming teeth, there isn't really a way as the system is designed to give more playability to the Extinction game mode and try to get players to spend more time playing the mode.

When the bonus pool is active, it will yield an increase in the amount of teeth you acquire whilst playing.

you forgot to mention you copied and pasted this, also do u get a tooth per relic completed with or just a tooth with relic on.
