1. Do i need to do anything else that involves opening up my JTAGed xbox to mod MW2

once your console is jtagged you should never need to open it again, all game modding is done by ripping games to usb/hdd and modding files on your pc and replacing them back into your orig game folders.


2. What is a good site to buy a JTAG on because on ebay all they have are xboxes that can be JTAGed and are not.

Dont look to buy one, to fully understand it and use it properly you should do one yourself. follow some tuts found here and other sites, do some research and save some money.

The JTAGed xbox listed above does not include any hard drive but I already have a HDD drive that i use for my xbox that has no mod on it and i have gone online with so is it possible to use that hard drive for both xboxes for when i want to play a normal online game in MW2 or do i need to buy another hard drive?

Once you console is jtaged it wont matter if you are running modded content or not, your ban clock will start the second you sign into live, and no, you dont need a diff hdd to play regular unmodded games.


5. To mod the game i know i have to change files on a computer but do i need to use a transfer cable or can i use a usb memory stick or a usb to usb cable?

dont use transfer cable, rip all files to usb, and play from usb. safest way.


6. what is a good website that sells legit KVs for cheap and/or free


KV's are never free. best source is xboxscene.com 60 bucks and up.

actually on the sites i have looked they are about $100 to about $200 so it is actually the same as doing it myself. The problem though with doing it myself if that even though i am an electrical engineer and do that stuff all day, I do not feel safe in buying another xbox on ebay or some other place for about $150 that I can JTAG, as my xbox currently is one of the newer xboxes that cant be JTAGed, so i want to rather buy a already JTAGed xbox then risk the $150 and accidentally mess something up on the wiring.

Your choice, earning 25$ a head sounds good to me. Get banned after about 4 hours. Could have made like 300$ in lobbies, enough to buy more than one keyvault.

well one i get my JTAG i will probably talk to like ********* or some admin about setting up everything lobbies like he does then one i get stickied i figure i will probably get enough to get at least 1 KV hopefully 2 a game and maybe i will do something like if i start getting 2 or 3 KVs a before a ban then i might host a session of free lobbies. I will probably also host like once a month like one whole weekend with free games. But yeah I cant do these unless i get enough people to pay for one because in 4 hrs i could probably host like 6-8 games. OH yeah and that 4 hours ban within going online is that going into matchmaking, just going on xbox live and if this is it will appearing offline lengthen the time, or the time starts after i start my first game?

its impossible to not get banned unless you r jester or his other 2 friends.

no there are ways to not get banned, u need an Ethernet cable to do it. u host a lobby time it for 20 min. hope u dont get banned then ( u prob wont ) and shut off ur jtag and take ur Ethernet cable out...once thats done...u can turn the xbox back on and play around with it
