If I were to rjtag my console is the rjtag starter kit good enough or do I absolutely need the ultimate kit (can't find)....I am aware these are out of business and are rare....I also heard you can buy all the parts to the ultimate kit separately is that true if so what parts would I need.

The only thing you need on top of an "ultimate" kit is a way to read/write to the Nand. So you could get a NandX and a "starter" kit or a JRProgrammer and a "starter" kit and be just fine. There is no need for the little QSB that comes additionally with the RJTAG "ultimate" kit.

Yea no problem. Here's the pinout for the J2B1 header for RJTAG - its exactly the same as RGH except you add in that K point (kiosk) wire so that you can run rater (if you get a JR Programmer V2)
