you cant,
i already tired,
the modded gamertag is an offline profile obv.
so it dont let you do anything,
and just signs you out and makes you go onto a gold 1

it does let u coz ive seen som1 wid a red name called Sh*t Stain, maybe u cant put buttons in it like mw2?

Indeed you can.

If you do it the right way it works , it worked for me , but there's a special way to do it , youtube it.

Also , i wouldn't suggest not making your name so obvious , such as putting all kinds of colors and buttons , just put something that is truly unique , for example mine is "Cyber" no button , symbols or colors.
