Ok so this is just my opinion but i think that people who treat/say that humans are better like this is an example, say there was a child that was 3 years old and a dog aged 6 months which is 3 years old in dog years, if the child punched another child in the face then they would most likley simply be told of or maybe grounded but if a dog the exact same age jumped up at a child just simply playing and ACCIDENTALY biting a child then they could have to be put down or something which i find wrong, its not the dogs fault if it hurts a child its just playing and before you say that it shouldnt jump up in the first place, a child shouldnt punch someone full stop. This is my opinion if you have a different oppinion feel free to post it

There was that story not too long ago about two dogs mauling a 6 day old baby to death.
They put the dogs down, and, as far as I know, no charges have been pressed against the parents who left a 6 day old baby alone with 2 big dogs and expected nothing to go wrong.
I don't like humankind at all, I sincerely believe that we were an evolutionary mistake, and that we should simply stop breeding.
Some people might call that insane or rash but, can anyone really tell me that Earth is better off now than it was 200,000 years ago?

I completely agree with you.
I got this buddy of mine who owns a Savannah Monitor and he buys these rats/mice and just tosses em in the tub along with the lizard. All you hear is the rat crying and trying to fight for his life and I ask why don't they just kill the rat then feed it to him and they reply with; that's cruel......

lmao
I'm not going to kill myself because it's "good for the earth".
You can't honestly convince me you give a shit about what happens to the earth 1,000 years from now?

I didn't say kill ourselves...
I said stop breeding, there's quite a big difference.
Also, it doesn't matter if I care about the Earth 1000 years from now, right now on this planet and for the past 200,000 years things have been hellish.
If there is no one to feel the pain of a life on this planet then there is essentially no pain.
That's all I care about.
I'm not going to kill myself over this belief, or not have children, it's a belief that I will never act on specifically because I don't care about what happens to the Earth in 1000 years.

I agree with this, and I hate people who think animals are just things that can be discarded or replaced(specifically pets).

This reminds me of a story I read last week.
An old lady was killed by a pit bull and they put it down.
Deep in the article, however, it was revealed that the dog had been trapped inside of that room for weeks.
How do you expect it to react?
Why weren't the people keeping it in their charged?

You think we should stop breeding, yet you wish to breed in the future? You comment as if we are savage untamed animals, one could argue that point however in the democratic world we live in, we do not "breed".
Humans are evolutionarily the most developed species, as thus we will continue to reproduce and life will go on. Animals are of a lower species than us, they are lower in the food chain. Have any of you even heard of survival of the fittest? If we were not the evolutionary pinnacle we would be at a level where dogs and cats and mice, had just as much power in the world as us humans.
Just a point to nullify the thread, both a tedious and stupid topic.

The only tedious post on this thread is yours, thinking you can end it with one fell swoop of your 'logic.'
Just because we're the most advanced species doesn't mean that our existence is a good thing.
I have actually heard of 'survival of the fittest,' the English adapted that into something called 'Social Darwinism' and the last person who took that too seriously was a little boy from Austria named Adolf.
We are savage animals, but we have been tamed by society.
We all live in accordance with social norms and agreements that we don't even realize are there.
I won't kill you if you don't kill me etc.
Take people out of society and watch how quickly these agreements deteriorate.
