checking everything with some of you guys just to get some extra opinion on this before i actually buy.
the purpose of this build will be for heavy editing (intense vfx and modeling), gaming, then obviously just the casual use.
i've got that cpu picked out cause i have a pal at intel that can give me a nice deal, (also the 4930k for about 270$ usd, those are the only two i asked about) so please don't suggest changes on that. also, please don't suggest an amd gpu because i guess you could say i'm a fanboy of nvidia gpus and like to take advantage of the cuda cores for editing.
also, i didn't even really think about it, but i guess it happened anyway but there's a black and red theme in the case, so if you want to make a suggestion, please keep that in mind
here's the pcpartpicker link, feel free to edit and send back as a response on this thread pals: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

i should ask my pal that works over at intel if they can get me a deal on one of those, just to see what he can get for it.

i'll be doing 3d work with c4d, work in after effects (3d in there as well), and some premiere here and there. might touch a little on some photoshop, but that isn't too demanding compared to the others.

deffo not bud , you have plenty of ram for the job , cpu is very good too id have one any day of the week, my next upgrade is gonna be an i5 3570k but il need a new motherboard too which is annoying , amd is ok but i wanna stream in 1080p and it just cant handle it while playing bf4 at ultra it drops by like 20fps and the stream buffers
