For the past 8 years I have had Brightnet Internet. Since it is the only isp in my area I'm stuck with it. But the problem is that over the years my internet has gotten worse and worse. When we first got xbl the Internet was awesome but now I can't play 30 seconds and it kicks me off. We called brighten muiltiple times and Even upgraded our inter package and it is still very laggy. So I was thinking maybe my router is the problem, and it can't transfer the Internet through the cables to my xbox because it's so outdated and can't handle our package. My router is netgear and we got it about 8 years ago when we first got Internet, so I was thinking that my old outdated router is my problem and that it needs update, along with that we were thinking about buying a Motorola SB6121 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem to transfer all of our data to my xbox and I was wondering if there is a good router for this modem or if you guys have and suggestions or knowledge on what is wrong with my internet!
