A friend of mine was lucky enough to pack Ronaldo a few weeks ago

He ended up selling him and selling the coins to buy the new Forza game

Then after that he emailed EA saying he'd lost Ronaldo (or words to that impact) and they gave him 30000 coins..

It's amusing because if my friend actually had lost Ronaldo, a 30k consolation is a bit shabby

But yes, based on that there are instances when EA pay people back.. Not sure about giving the actual card back though
