Has a Monarch.
Allows Monarch to take money from them.
Claims to be a union yet it is things like the English votes that only matter.
People vote for conservatives
Rangers fans forget that they're Scottish
State funeral for Thatcher the milk snatcher
The list could go on but it's 9:30 and I'm too tired.
So a Scot, who also pays tax going to the UK government, votes on English parties, is questioning the logic...
I'm sorry but you do realise the government is a coalition, as such you can affer that it was a split decision in 2010.
Or maybe since you are a blatant patriot you voted SNP
Check my date of birth. I don't vote or pay tax. The first time I'll ever vote will be for the referendum.
In which case I wouldn't expect you to understand the logic behind paying tax (the reason the monarch gets money (not to mention the vast wealth she has from her investments globally)). The voting on Conservatives? Their policies over the last few general elections have been very attractive and they tend to include benefits for the rich and the poor. A state funeral for Margret Thatcher, probably the first prime minister with their head screwed on, changed England for the better, not to mention going against all odds and becoming the first ever woman prime minister.

I can clearly tell that you're not old enough for any of those just by your writing.

Perhaps the one line wonder would like to expand on his statement?

Well we can't half see where your allegiance lies. If Marget Thatcher was so great then why is she hated by so many? The fact that there is a Monarch is beyond insanity. My point is that elections are heavily based on the English vote. Do you think that the majority of Scottish people would have conservatives in charge?

I'm a liberal democrat supporter, just so you know, i just have no biased opinion when it comes to politics (i have an A level in politics). Your point can be that, according to the demographics of the 2010 election, majority of scotland voted as i did, Liberal Democrats.

Indeed they did. Are they happy that it is actually conservatives with the real power? Scotland voted for Lib Dem yet the sheer weight of England's constituencies rendered Scotland attempts pointless. Even with its best effort the English vote had effectively won. To me if you are to have a union that operates fairly with all interests taken into account then a system should be developed which means that Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales all have votes which will add up to be equal. Instead of having a system where English interest is served first.

Well I've already seen you post about Scottish independence and you'll be voting free of the UK. As for that, impossible. Why would the vote of 5 million people (scotland) be equal to the vote of england's 53 million people. It comes down to constituencies which England has many more of. Think about your post again.

It's all pretty logical really !.
Just to say your aloud to smoke from 16 here is a quote from - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
"It's illegal to sell cigarettes, tobacco or cigarette papers to anyone under 18, but it is not a criminal offence for a person under 18 to smoke."
