I've never played an MMO game before. EVER. But I've played Skyrim and I loved it. In the ESO can you play by yourself or is there constantly people in your game? That may be a very stupid question to ask but any replies are appreciated.

All MMOs especially in today's society are practically owned by a relay of product distributors not gamers, so no you cannot go solo. Assuming you want to be top dog in the game, or even close to it. Today all gamers who go into MMOs like WoW, RS, GW, PW, and even ESO have a state of mind in which having a friend play with them would be more fun, and you're given rewards for such. Don't get me wrong on that, it's great to play with friends, BUT to have these said rewards exclusive to someone who actually wants them and then forcing them to conform to playing with a friend who by 83% chance will never be on or want to be on when you are. So now people who have gaming as an outlet or simply like to play alone are nearly forced to conform as a means to get ahead in their aimed direction. Meaning this is being aimed to people who think an MMO is ****ing farmville. Not gamers who are now virtually shunned like myself who play in massive lengths in time, and have made careers out of it. Now that is a few in a number, but games were originally intended to shine to us, not the people who are so impatient and lazy that they need to actually buy levels or ranks, etc. Worse, complain of things being too hard because they don't have the time or skills or whatever to simply play the game. So it's either be destroyed by these low lives who can't be ripped from social media for a second of their lives by word of mouth advertising that the game is horrible, OR continue to appeal to people like myself and the others who love a challenging game that forces adaptation in a way that hasn't been seen in practically a near decade.

In case I lost you... Yes, you will see players around you at all times until you hit the higher levels, not a lot of people are there yet of course. Do you need to play with them, at times yes. UNLESS you're truly amazing at your class. Even then it'll be a pain in the ass.
