Very interesting thread! Love to go visit some of these places one day!


Another place which I have loved learning about a while ago is the town that the famous film 'Silent Hill' was based around, called Centralia, in Pennsylvania. It was abandoned around 1962 because of underground coal like fires which are still going on with toxic gases.
Very interesting place, which isn't totally abandoned, but virtually is completely...

Cool list I've actually been to number 13 when I was on holiday in Philadelphia. Almost went to number 1 (Pripyat) when I was in Ukraine but didn't have time unfortunately. I will update with some photos of number 13 when I get a chance!
