My PC is pretty old as i got it back in 2005 however I would like to run some virus scans and was wondering what you guys would consider the best software for this job. Also, i would ask that it is a free program.

I am guessing as it is from 2005 it still has Windows XP.

Assuming that, Avast! is free, and still compatible with Windows XP.

I have to agree, also if you want to get somethings your anti virus might miss, get malwarebytes. Assuming it's compatible.
