What are you trying to accomplish here? I wouldn't suggest that PSU under any circumstances and you should not need a full-size PC PSU just to run a SATA device. If you want to power only an optical or hard drive, you can just get an adapter and/or enclosure for cheap.

Get something of better quality (not necessarily higher price) if you'll be using this for your whole PC. Why do you need a new PSU, anyway? You should be able to connect SATA devices to it.
