Well let me start off by saying my computer is a decently good computer.

Specs -

Intel i7 3770k Processor.
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 Ram.
AMD Radeon HD 7700R Ultra overclocked edition graphics card. (This is where I think is the problem)
Windows 7 64 Bit Operating System.
BIOSTAR B75MU3+ Motherboard.

I get really good frames in games such as League Of Legends on Max settings 60 frames constant no lag ever. Same with lets say Smite max settings no lag. But when I want to start recording my frames just drop to like 20 frames - 30 frames and I make YouTube videos so this is critical to fix. Any ideas on how to fix it or should you guys just recommend me buying a new graphics card :/

FYI: They are like the least demanding games known to man and you should be able to record this without any problem what so ever on them games. Like seriously. Just check all your drivers and research it.

depends on what your recording settings are like as well, make sure you write to a HDD that is fast enough to take on all the data. For example using an external USB 2 HDD to record data to will drop your frames to it highest possible rate that the HDD can sustain. Also use a good recording app that allows you to change the FPS you record at. Also 30 FPS for youtube is fine considering that video playback is at 30fps anyway

But the 7700 in an i7 system is a bit silly. Upgrade the GPU

If you don't have enough money to upgrade your card you can just buy, or find an old hard drive and plug it into your PC. By recording to a different hard drive you don't lose any frames.

recording is benefited from a faster HDD, so an old one would be stupid.

I didn't mean one that was made in like 2001. I meant something that he had laying around in a old computer that he didn't use.
