You don't need to spend that much to play next gen games on ultra 1500 should be fine for a high end build

You won't need to spend 3000..
The total cost of my setup was about 1,000 GBP back in October (With some added aftwards).
It runs everything maxed with no problem. You could get a high Intel/NVidia build which will run things even better but I wouldn't imagine your cost would be above 1500GBP

This is what you want for that budget. Intel's X79 platform has more PCIe lanes availible so its better for multiple card setups. With this you'd get four 780Ti's in a full tower case. They are reference models, and although most people would chose the cheaper Windforce cooler for them its debateable whether you want four cards dumping heat into the case, or out the back.

Well it fits into your budget. two 780Ti's are overkill unless you plan to use more than a single monitor.
