I actually find this quite nice for beginner work. It's not an extremely popular design technique but nice nonetheless.

I like the design.. Just a few things.
the R and the A . Are much lighter than the rest of the text, I really like how you have done that but I think they should all be that bright.
The second thing is the font, A more simplistic font would look much nicer.
Overall, pretty impressed.

The outline/stroke on the text contrasts away from the lines background, which is good in this case. However, I don't like the font, or how you filled the text with more lines...
It's not bad since it's your first, but it needs work man. Keep practicing.
