Have you tried skating late at night? Here in the UK you don't tend to get bothered so much at night and there won't be anyone around to complain to the police.

Vox wrote Have you tried skating late at night? In the UK, for some reason, police are less likely to trouble skaters, but still do it. I reckon it's because in the US, they sue more often than we would in the UK so the owners of the property being skated are just nervous.

They don't want you skating in public for a reason. And you continuing to do it is ignorant.
Skateboarders are a nuisance. And I'm not saying that everyone is this way, but a lot of skaters vandalize, and tag, etc etc
I don't think cops and business owners care that much for skating, but what comes along with skating is what they don't like.

They do still bother you but that's just them doing their job and following the usually stereotype of drug using skaters with attitude problems. often though the police can actually be quite friendly providing you treat them how you would like to be treated, If they ask you to move on do so. if you want to go somewhere where you wont be bothered try industrial areas. there's a few awesome skate spots not far from me in the city of Cardiff and most of the time you won't get bothered just have to be careful and respectful of others around you.
