Hi All! Today I will show you how to allocate RAM to Minecraft. This can drastically improve your FPS and over-all performance in-game.

TEXT TUTORIAL!
1GB Of Ram - 1G or 1024M
2GB Of Ram - 2G or 2048M
3GB Of Ram - 3G or 3072M
4GB Of Ram - 4G or 4096M
Etc

Step one, Download Java SE/DK
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step Two, Open Minecraft and Click Edit Profile in the Lower Left hand Corner.
Step 3,Check JVM Arguments and Change "1G" to However much RAM you want to allocate.

Don't Know how to Check RAM?
Open "System" by clicking on your Start Button, and Entering "System", proceeded by clicking "System" beneath "Control Panel".
In there It will say How much RAM you have. Do not use more than HALF of your Ram! It may be unstable!

I need help when i changed this value "-Xmx1G" to "-Xmx5G" it crashes the launcher please help

That is setting the maximum RAM that Minecraft can be set to 5GB. You won't be able to use this amount if your computer doesn't have sufficient spare memory to allocate. Set the number to a lower value (Don't put more than half of your available RAM)
