drew024 wrote what really bothers me is that all everyone wants is the old CODs to be remade. im all for it but at the same time i already paid $60 for the original and another $50 for the season pass. why would i want to pay $60 again for the same game with updated graphics? also imo the only reason they are making futuristic games now is because they have already done WWI/WWII games. what more can they do?
I don't think it's more of what else they can do, just so many people want another WW2 type of CoD, I think what the developers are doing is staying away from that area for now because if they listen to the community, make the game and turns out people hate it, then that's bad news for them. CoD gets enough hate as is(even though people who hate on CoD will still more and likely play it) but if they made a game that so many people want and then turns out not how they wanted it, the community would be in an uproar.

You do realize this game has been in production before Titanfall was even announced?

Gavino wrote Looks Bad.
They need to listen to the people and make a game back in WW1/WW2
Instead of this futuristic stuff.
I would also like this, but then people would say "oh, they should've made a futuristic COD".

Not gonna defend the game, i think it looks aweful and tbh i agree with people who say it is no longer call of duty, certainly not as we have grown to know and love it.
However what i will say is: if we had our way, and they kept the things we liked the same, call of duty would have dried up years ago. Games have to change. The consumer might think it is worse, but if they just repackaged the same story line, the same weapons, gamestyle, etc just with better graphics and tried to sell us that every year for 40 pound; we'd all be fuming.

I completely agree with you in the fact that the Call of Duty franchise is very much alive, as can be seen on their sales statistics:
Although I personally do not like the look of this game at all. We all know the saying "You can't judge a book by it's cover" but the trailer showed the first page of that book and I personally don't like the content. Of course if anybody else has any conflicting opinions then I'm perfectly happy to accept them.

tbh think about it.
bad trailers = good games
since they focus less of advertising and more on gameplay....
tbh cod4 bad trailers amazing game
cod waw bad trailers amazing game
cod6/ mw2 bad trailers amazing game
bo1 good trailers awful game
cod8/ mw3 good trailers awful game
bo2 medicore trailers and a medicore game
ghosts medicore trailers and a medicore game
and this has bad trailers FOR SINGLE PLAYER ONLY SO FAR so...
- just my opinion -

It's very much alive, but look at the drop for ghosts. No matter how much money they made of it, a lot of people will have been fired because of those sales figures. 10 million less than its predecessor, why? Because Ghosts is the worst call of duty to date. By the looks of it AW is gonna go in the same direction.

waffle wrote I've been playing Cod since the first one was released but stopped playing after Black Ops 2. I guess i just can't see it as fun anymore. I've just played it too long that it all felt the same and got boring. Same with Madden for me. I can honestly say i wont be buying it. I used to love it but as i got older the game just got old too me.
ive been playing it since cod 4 and i feel the same tbh its just boring now and its just filled with people always wanting to trickshot or feed and makes the game boring its just dead i think thats my personal opinion but it has gone downhill it seems like there not bothering on the actual gameplay now and more on just making money like microsoft with there original plans for the xbox one ect

It looks absolutely horrible imo seriously its 2014 and they're making it look like way way way in the future, they really have ruined it for me after MW3 came out it just went downhill.
