LowerStandards wrote Nobody will get a 15000 car as their first because you just wouldn't get insured on it if you're a new driver. A realistic first car I would like is a 'Volkswagen Lupo'.

I am considering a Lupo for my first car. I can pick up one in decent shape for around £1000 and insurance for me on one is £1350. The Seat Arosa is the same car with a different badge and is just a little cheaper as it's a different name.
ConsoleHacker wrote was thinking about buying a toyota starlet 1.3 turbo as my second car.I actually had a good look at these. Nice little cars, IF you can find one that hasn't been ruined by a 'chav'.
I have a few 'dream' cars. Most of which would actually be decent first cars, if I could find one in decent shape, and if I had the money.
VW Golf MK2
VW Lupo
VW Jetta MK2
VW Polo MK3(they aren't very nice, I only like them because of my past)
Seat Leon Cupra FR
BMW M3 E30
2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi(I just love the hatchback impreza's so much)
As you can see, I'm quite a fan of hatchback's and slammed cars.
Realistically though, as I don't have a lot of money, it's likely I'll be a getting a 2002 Seat Ibiza for my first car. It'll be either the 1.2 or 1.4 engine I'll get and insurance is around £1500.
Here's one stock;
and here's one that looks sort of like mine will after I'm done with it;
If I do manage to pick an Ibiza up, I plan on lowering it, slapping some nice alloys on here and giving all the wheels a little bit of negative camber. I'll probably have her de-badged all round, windows tinted and a few other minor modifications. Depending on the colour, I'll probably have it vinyl wrapped in a nicer colour(not sure what yet).
