So someone says "PC master-race and console players are peasants . "

WHO CARES, LET THEM

This is double sided because PC users are called geeks and nerds and fat etc etc and virgins (or is that just pokemon fanatics? ).

It really doesn't matter what people call you, the fact is I think it is awesome that we can all be supportive and passionate of our different groups it just proves one thing guys.

WE ARE HUMAN

PC's are better than consoles because they offer more and consoles are made of mostly PC parts. You can't overclock on a console and if you're having framerate problems such as BF4 on the 360 or even BF3 for the matter you can't lower settings. On the PC you can change the different graphical settings so if you can't play on High with 30-60 FPS then drop it to medium or low to run smoother, especially since there are different reqs for different instances such as BF4 Caspain Border. I can run most maps on High but for caspian I need to hop down to medium because there is a bit more to be processed.

Games like Skyrim can be modded, so any bugs unaddressed in updates can be fixed, you can improve lighting add items and such. On the console you cannot play the DLC Falskaar. It is an amazing fan-made DLc with fully voice acted characters and much unexplored land, quests etc. The console exclusives can be played on a PC as well, you can emulate them with an emulator. Old gameboy games and so on all are on the PC as well due to diligent work from dedicated gamers across the world.

Performance wise PC will always be better but personal experience will always be a choice. There will never be a "better" experience because it will always be an opinion.

Sorry but, everyone is saying "if you're having fun, that's all that matters". Well to some people, having fun while gaming is quality graphics, which means PC would be the way to go. Fact is, PC's are more powerful, they're faster and they look much nicer. IMHO, the only reason to choose a console for gaming, over a PC, is if you're friends all game on console and you prefer "team" gaming, or if you don't like mouse/keyboard set-up and prefer a handheld controller.

Performance wise, PC blows consoles out of the water. I'll always have both, a PC and consoles though. PC is for solo gaming, my consoles are for messing about with friends or when I have people over and want to play split-screen or pwning the girlfriend at CoD because that's how I get my kicks, obviously and it makes her think I'm good at CoD.

I think we're taking out of consideration what we should be taking in.
Buy an Xbox 360 now, around $200.
You buy a computer for that? It won't run anything.
You spend $1000s on computers, and ofcourse they are going to be better as they are customisable. It's a known fact that Customs are better then Prebuilts.
If you had the option to customise console, apart from more HD space, you wouldn't need to upgrade much at all.
All games produced for console, run fine.
You buy a $200 console, run all games fine.
You buy a $200 PC, you won't run anything.

Meh I just let them sit in their Tinfoil-hat world, but they do have a point. PC will always be better hardware wise unless consoles become able to be upgraded. That's the downfall of consoles.

They all have the same components, but gaming consoles use signed code (non JTAG) but PC's do not.

Ram in both
Graphics chip in x360
Bios in PC, NAND in xbox

I think I'd have better time on a console than I would on a PC as a PC seems to be a commodity and a console seems to be a luxury.

They have the same components in the same way that cars have the same parts as aircraft do. Current generation consoles use AMD architecture, so these days its more comparable to PC hardware than it would be to older generation console hardware. The consoles will have onboard graphics, it'll be in the processor, in the same way it is on most computers. Computers however, can have additional graphics cards added in for more performance.

To say they use the same hardware isn't correct really. PC's do use signed code also, its a way of managing security.

PC Master race is nothing but a joke. Literally. No-one says it and means it. It started as a joke, it's still a joke. Don't take it so seriously.
