It means they fell at the last hurdle nothing more nothing less. I can't see City not claiming the title against West Ham at home but we shall see.

I will be sad to see City win it tbh, Liverpool has more passion for the game whereas City are just have the larger wallet.

Maybe next season Liverpool can win it but with the CL and their squad it's going to be more difficult.

You can't see City getting 1 point at home to West Ham?

If City do lose however and Liverpool beat Newcastle then they win the league. If Liverpool lose then City win though.

Chelsea can't win it now regardless of any results.

Liverpool winning the league is merely a bonus to a really good season we have had. No one thought we would be where we are today.

Even if Liverpool lose the title they've done such a good job to get where they are.

Liverpool don't have a strong enough team like City. It's a shame but true.

I don't like Man City they don't seem to have as much passion for the game as other teams just loads of money.

City does not deserve to win the league

They have basically paid for the league title because of all the players they have bought and how much money was spent

Most of the games they have are a fluke like getting a penalty or the referee being an idiot for not giving the right decisions

The last time west ham went against city was a very tough game but city won by a bit of luckiness

Since it is their last game all of their best players will be playing so a lot of effort will be put in

Even though it will be a tough game,City will have the league once again

I was hoping for city to be banned from champions league for spending over the limit but it didnt happen

I really wanted Liverpool to win but after drawing against Swansea they have no chance if City play with their best squad and high moral

Sorry Liverpool but you will have to wait for next year

City will win, simple as that.

Does that mean Liverpool are bad??
No way.

They have had a great season, and to come second in the Premier League is no failure.

I am a Manchester United fan so obviously the rivalry is there, and would prefer Chelsea to get more points than is possible in a game just so City and LFC dont win lol.

But in all seriousness, i think this is the closest they will get for a long time now.
They have had alot fewer games this season, which kept them game ready.

I hope they do keep it up into next season though.
More interesting competition when there is no straight winner
