I know that the general consensus from people is that math is stupid and irrelevant so I wanted to know how the TTG community feels about it.
Personally, I'm going to be a Civil Engineer so obviously, I have to like math a lot.
Also, how far into math are you planning on going? Just to Stats like most majors, or are you planning on going up through all Calculus and Differential Equations?
I'm going to start Calculus III and Linear Algebra next semester

Yeah, I enjoy it because I get satisfaction when I learn something new and do it well.

In England we do it rather differently at the level you speak. However, I find maths engaging, however I only got a C in Maths at A Level, I struggled a lot with it. Regardless, I find Maths essential really, supports your problem solving and logic.

I hate maths with a passion, probably doesn't help with my teacher being a bi***....
But I really should like it...
I'm going into engineering, and I have my Maths GCSE in less than a month, and leave school just after it...

I'm going to university to study mathematics at the end of this year. I'm not from the US (I'm from the UK and I did 2 A-Levels in Maths) so I'm not sure the particular modules you're on about but I know a bit about calculus and linear algebra. I actually took a module of differential equations as well.
Maths is ridiculously important it's shapes all aspects of our lives.
e^(i*pi)+1=0
