iPhone is over-priced for what you actually get. iOS 7 looks comical, more so like a high quality 3rd party theme.
Most people who buy iPhone are bandwagoners because the are the "in" thing to have. The Galaxy S5 isn't so hot either, more like S4 1/2. The finger print scanner is nearly useless as you have to scan you finger perfectly for it to register. The heartbeat sensor on the back is gimicky as hell, nobody is going to use it. And oh yeah, it's STILL PLASTIC.
I have an HTC One M8 myself, and it's great. Running 4.4.2 KitKat w/ Sense 6 on top and it's smooth as silk and hardly ever hangs. It has the premium feel a flagship device should have, while also touting premium specs. A Snapdragon 801 running this baby, BoomSound speakers for all you audiophile needs, and HTC duo camera? (Well that one is actually kinda disappointing, but hey -- the depth sensor is pretty badass imo)
