SPEED wroteCarporn wrote I already talked to a well known Subaru performance shop and they said in Florida (where I am) when it rains heavy and sometimes when you hit a large puddle, the water can get sucked into the intake and hydrolock (blow) the engine. They recommend only going as far as upgrading the air filter. They said that an intake is good but doesn't make much of a noticable difference.
What shop?
Just curious if it's the same one I go to, since they mainly do subbies.

I believe I've heard of them. Do you have a subaru too? And Do the have an AWD dyno? Super Circuit doesn't, the rent one as they need it. I gotta find a place that has one because the closest location is Miami which is 3 hours from me :/ Tampa can be a little closer to me sometimes

Carporn wroteI noticed everyone was showing off their rides so I decided to show off mine. It's my first car and don't plan on letting her go anytime soon. Picked it up brand new and it halls ****! I plan on picking up a MagnaFlow Exhaust soon and then a Cobb down Pipe short after.

That car is a beauty. One my buds drives a '06 WRX and he let me take it for a spin one time and they are great to drive.
I like the color of your car and it you have a bunch of options as to what you can do with it.
Hope you keep us updated!

No, I have a 350z.
Yes, VSR has an AWD dyno. As I said, they're mainly a subbie shop, so they've got a lot of really cool stuff for WRX/STIs, and the owner (Bobby) is a great tuner. They do a lot of in-house development (stage 2 blocks for WRX, single turbo kits and BBKs for 350zs), etc. They also do a lot of 350z/370z, Porsche, and some super car work. It's a nice place.

My car is far from show worthy at the moment, but I might go anyways for fun.
Shoot me a PM some time, and maybe we'll meet up. Been a while since I've been to a meet.
