So my Retail can't connect to my RGH in System Link (MW2) i have the same dashboard, same title update, devlink is disabled, LiNK is disabled, connected to the same network. But when i got to system link it shows the RGH's game but when i try to connect to the game it just says Cant connect to host. By the way my retail is connected to my router wireless and my RGH is wired if that makes a difference.

Sounds fine.. There should be no problem. Maybe try resetting your router/modem and see what happens?

I already tried that and that didn't seem to work.

I wish I could help.. I've always got this stuff fixed easily by resetting my console or router, Sorry bud. Hope you get it working!

The retail and the rgh has to be wired to the modem no wireless.

You can connect the eithernet cable into each console. And just connect to Xbox Live after you're done.

both need to be wired together or to the router or both need to be wireless

Had the same problem. I solved it with a second ethernet cable so both consoles are connected to the same network with an ethernet cable
