Hi everyone, so tomorrow I have a job interview. It's my first ever one and I don't really know what to expect? I am really nervous in case I screw up:/ I kind of have social anxiety so I find it hard to talk to people. Can anyone leave me some suggestions on how I can feel a little more secure and what to expect.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The more you do it, the more comfortable you will get. I feel the same way, I'm sure they will understand you are nervous. Just relax and you will do fine . I wish you the best of luck

Dont be nervous at all. Its just like having a conversion with a friend. Just think of it like that. Make sure to say hello and thank you and everything like that. Make sure you shake their hand and not to hard or too soft. They arnt going to ask you brain busting questions and just be honest with them.

They make their mind up within the first 5 seconds or something. Act as if you already have the job, and you MUST be confident. A nice firm handshake and introduce yourself as you go in.

Not telling you to lie but act confident, even if you arent! It helps a lot (in my experiences at least).
Also make sure you get your interviewers name down in case you need to follow up with anything or have questions:P

Yeah, as sde said, always ask for a name/number/card or something so it looks like you're really interested. If you are, then good. But if you're not, do it anyway just so it looks nice.

Well confidence is key when you are doing a job interview. Just don't be pressured, act as like you already have the job and you're getting a raise or something along those lines. If you do this you will be successful in your interview. Good luck!
