What, if anything, will be holding me back?

I notice that I forgot to include the fact that this build will be a Hackintosh running mavericks...

Here is my PC:

You want to buy a full tower man.

You'll want space in there man, space is not that expensive when it comes to cases and I'm in the middle of buying parts for my PC atm and one thing I refused to do was buy a mid tower.

I've bought a Corsair C70 Vengeance, go look at full tower cases.

useless and a waste of money, don't listen to him, mid towers such as the Fractal R4 and the Corsair 400r have plenty of room for any build

Full tower is ONLY going to be good for ih you have custom watercooling.
vegeta508, have fun looking at a PC that looks stupidly small on the inside.
OP, is this just for gaming?

Get dual-channel RAM: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Z97 boards are out now and still being released, so you may as well stay current. I'm not aware of any reviews for these yet but it seems hard to get 1150 wrong: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The 290X is faster than the 780 for about the same price, so unless you MUST have the Nvidia feature set as opposed to AMD's, I'd suggest you get the 290X. I wouldn't suggest the stock cooler for either card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Better PSUs for the same price: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The Source 530 looks like a very nice case, but I wouldn't suggest a full-tower if you don't need it. You can run into PSU cable length issues as well. You may like these:

Thank you very much for the notes r00t:) My birthday is in two months and I am buying one or two more sticks of the same RAM then.

I am going to build a hackintosh and I already have a Mavericks boot drive, which is why I chose the parts I did. I had the NZXT Source 210 but it appears that my graphics card needs a good inch more of room to fit (unless I remove all of the hard drive bays).

Thanks very much for your input though and I am looking at the other cases you suggested now:)

It is primarily for gaming, but like stated before, it is going to be a hackintosh. I have a smaller hard drive as well, which I will be using for video storage and things of that nature:)
