I wouldn't call it world news, but it's starting to get around in the midwest. A man by the name of James Stevens who goes by the name 420 Jim is on a mission to legalize marijuana. He started in Farmington, New Mexico in his RV, and is on his way to Washington DC to present his petition to officials there. Along the way he is making stops and gaining signatures. He stopped by my town yesterday and today and has gained signatures, and it's cool to say that I've signed his petition and met someone who's as determined as he is to make this happen.

Why do you guys think it should be legalized? Give me your opinions honestly. Dont think i dont want it i believe it shouldnt though it should become decriminalized. Tell me what you really think or even know.

Well to be honest I see a lot more injuries/deaths from alcohol. Not once have I heard of someone dying or becoming ill from Marijuana. It's not even addicting when alcohol is.
I don't drink or get involved with drugs at all. I'm well behaved and have parents that have taught me good morals. But even they agree this would be better to have it legalized.

No deaths recorded.
Huge medical benefits.
Proven less addictive than coffee.
Safer and more fun recreationally than alcohol from my own point of view.
Cannabis oil has been proven to reduce and kill cancer cells.
If its controlled and sold in stores that means no more gangs selling it meaning less
violence, no chances of dealers lacing it, and harder for children to get it.
After two months of legalization in Colorado, Property crimes decreased 14% and murder was down 67%.
Answer these questions to yourself.
1. If you got sick, Would you rather smoke, vape, eat 1 natural plant with no side effects with many different uses medically, or take 5-10 pills that could have side effects worse than the condition your taking them for?
2. Why are cigarettes and alcohol legal when they account for so many deaths every year, but a plant that's physically impossible to overdose on, can make paper, clothes, medicine, oils etc. is illegal?
We should follow Colorado. Legal for someone over the age of 21 for recreation use.

Also the actual hemp it's self would be much more better for making clothes, fiberglass, etc. The whole plant itself could do a lot of things.
