I've run into a problem. I'm running out of storage for some of my older things (and ultimately just trying to get rid of old clutter), and I've come across my old PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. At one point in time, I thought I would hang on to these in the hopes that my kids (or a drunken me) might pull them out and have an awesome time whipping out the original Halo for a few games, or pulling out SOCOM for a few campaign missions and hating my life for having Boomer on my team.
My question to you all.. is it worth hanging on to these consoles? Are my kids one day going to pick them up and play them with the same nostalgic feeling that I do when I pick up my N64 (which **** no I'm not getting rid of) and pay it? I'm tempted to put them all into a bag and take them to EB games to just pawn for any measly amount of money I can get, or to donate them to a children's hospital or home of sorts. Or keep them and hope they build some value over time. What do you guys think?
Throwaway because **** karma.

Uh, you just listed the greatest consoles ever made (imo) and asked if you should keep them? HELL YES YOU SHOULD.
I'm glad you enjoy your N64, I played the hell out of it when I was younger. Mario64 anyone? Playing Super Smash Bros and Luigi's Mansion on the good ol' Gamecube? Oh yes. Playing GTA and SOCOM on my old PS2 was one of the best times I had with my friends. And you can't not like the original Halo on the xbox, you just can't.
My advice: Keep em. Your children will thank you when you give those to them as starter consoles, and you'll always have the liberty of playing those nostalgic games whenever you please.

I would keep them to start for your children. You won't have to pay to get them a new console if they want one.

I honestly love my old consoles and go back to them constantly. I think it brings back great memories and really just is a reminder of the good ol' days.

They are defiantly worth keeping bud! They will be antique one day and maybe be worth something, but you could also give it to your kids and they can play without having to spend more and more money!

Keep your old consoles. If you sell them you might regret it.

I've still got my PS1, PS2 and Xbox 360!
I often go back to my 360 when I'm bored of my Xbox One, although I don't play the old PS's.
But I still love them! I remember a few months back, I did actually go back on my PS2 for a bit of 'Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30' if anyone remembers that amazing game? Also, a bit of 'San Andreas' is always great ;)
But yeah, I think they will value in a few years. Maybe about 10 years or so, but it's worth it! Even just for the good 'ol times memories!
