you could go for Turtle beaches i have the X12's i dont use them for xbox but instead PC and their really good and cheap like around $30

I have been through my share of turtle beaches. I absolutely love them. I have X32's and I used them for a while with the xbox one adapter, however recently they stopped working on Xbox one but still do for 360. So I just bought the XO Seven. They are the best Turtle Beach out for Xbox One only. Also the most expensive. I got mine at Gamestop for $120. I will say they are worth it if you want all of these features.

-Surround Sound
-wired only to controller
-no batteries or charger (uses X1's Controller to power it)

I herd the XO 4's are smaller and waste your controller's battery fast and they are stereo sound. However 99.99

Get turtle beaches. they are and last a while if you take care of them

I suggest trying Trittons. Although they're usually more expensive they offer better for what Turtle Beaches do. Any wireless headset by Tritton would allow you to move freely without the hassle of worrying how far you can move about your house. Some of the headsets even allow to play music via Bluetooth.
