I do alot of gaming, and also some graphic design/rendering. I know the 6 cores in the 4930K will help more for rendering, but will there be anymore benefits of the 4930K in terms of gamin? Thanks

For gaming, the difference depends on the game and how it handles the CPU, but the 4930K wil not offer you much except the extra PCI-E lanes for more graphics cards. Since you said "some" graphic design/rendering, I might even suggest the i5. save your money on the CPU and spend it on a better card and monitor(s) unless you have a huge budget.

i7 4770k or go for a i5

A 4930k cost alot more then a 4770k and you will probably not use all its features.

Most people will not use all the i7 features so for gaming i5 is good enough

for rendering just get a good gpu with alot of vram I render a lot too when design levels and making characters, etc

I5 CPU and any Gpu above 650ti
