All i want to know is if i can do this somehow.

I play dayz sa and i like to have music open as well but if i need to mute my music fast i have to alt tab and mute it is there anyway to just click 1 button and have it mute please help let me know if this if i can do anything like this thanks

Which music program do you use? Foobar2000 lets you set custom global keyboard shortcuts that will work even when the Foobar window is not focused. For instance, I have mine set to play/pause when I press control and the down arrow key.

Yes i use that i have a pedal on my floor i hit when i need to which is a "key"

i use pandora its an internet radio and i cant seem to find a way to mute it with out exiting my game

Maybe use pandora on a seperate device, instead?

i can only use it on my computer because i have to use a chrome app called media hint to get pandora because it is only in us and a few other place but not canada and that app lets me use pandora

so i need a way to either mute 1 thing on windows or get a program that lets me click off my screen and mute it but with out alt tabing i have 2 screens
