I don't think that people understand that some of these take me 3-4 hours. I really wish that people appreciated art more than they do. Some professional artist charge $50 per hour. I don't think that $40 is too bad for 3-4 hours.

It all depends on if you're making those prices or not. If people are paying those prices for your art, keep it up! If not, time to change the prices a little.

I don't use any type of tracing tool. I just kind of eyeball it and stroke it all first. I guess this is just kind of my style. I like it because it''s really cartoony.


Im pretty sure if you were to place your images over the original they would be near enough exactly the same.


Misunderstood. Yes I use a photo, but I thought you meant that I was using some kind of image trace tool. (Like in illustrator)
